The BMW 700 is a small rear-engined car produced by BMW from August 1959 to September 1965, based on the BMW 600. The 700 is one of several models credited with having rescued BMW from a terrible fate. By the time production ended, 188,211 had been produced which was more than five times the number achieved by its predecessor model.

On June 27, 2007, we had covered unofficial yet official press release of BMW 135i. Today, BMW has officially released the information on its new convertible 1-Series coupe set to be going on sale in the spring of 2008.

The 128i Convertible, which joins the new 1 Series Coupe going on sale in the spring of 2008, will be powered by BMW's 3.0-liter, 230 horsepower inline six-cylinder engine generating 200 lb-ft of torque. Like its fixed-roof stablemate, the 128i Convertible will feature Valvetronic valvetrain management and aluminum/magnesium cylinder block construction-core elements of BMW's Efficient Dynamics. The boys from Bavaria are trying to make the M3 Edition models more appealing and powerful with exclusive style. The limited run of 2009 M3s feature a choice of four bespoke paint schemes – Alpine White Non-Metallic, Black Non-Metallic, Dakar Yellow Non-Metallic or Monte Carlo Blue Metallic. The combination with BMW Individual High-Gloss Satin Chrome accentuates the truly sophisticated character of the Edition Models.

The interior benefits from a center console and armrests finished in white on the Alpine and black models, with "Carbon Structure Leather" trim and black Novillo leather seats, each complimented with white stitching. Vertical white trim adorns the back-rest and leg-rest, while the yellow and blue models get matching interior trimmings, and all Edition models feature both a numbered plaque and checkered flag door sills.

BMW has released the details and images of the new BMW X5 Security Plus which meets the requirements of the Class 6 resistance level. We're not very familiar with these resistance classes, but we do know what an AK47 is and apparently the new BMW x5Security Plus can withstand an attack with this weapon. The BMW X5 Security Plus features a new chassis that offers good driving characteristics on both road and off-road.

The BMW X5 Security Plus features a serious armor which includes high-performance steel moldings and panels, a dense joint protection, safety glazing, braking discs with polycarbonate coating and splinter protection. The BMW X5 Security Plus offers protection against robbery, kidnapping or Carjacking and can also be used in danger zones where the bad guys use AK 47s.
