Over the past few years Italian motorcycle builder Vyrus had become pretty adept at making jaw-droppingly unconventional machines. Their latest creation, the 987 C3 4V is no different.
Built off a similar platform to the company's previous products, the 987 C3 4V employs the same hub-center steering system and front swingarm setup. This system separates the steering braking and suspension systems to create more predictable handling characteristics.
The most significant difference between the 987 C3 4V and its predecessors is the engine. It still comes courtesy of Ducati, but in the 987 it's been upgraded to the same unit found in the Ducati 1198. In the Vyrus this engine pumps out 185 horsepower and comes coupled with a traction control system. Top speed of the bike is 192 mph (310 km/h).
Stylewise the Vyrus 987 C3 4V is incredibly aggressive. There's so many sharp angles and shapes it almost looks like it could have stealth capabilities. The matt black paint work nicely compliments the angular lines.
