Mitsubishi evo

Mitsubishi car manufacturer and its three diamonds in the badge are known for everyone. This manufacturer produces everything, from small compact city vehicles, through off-roads to special ones as Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. Right this car was chosen by the company Seidl Tuning for next improvements. It’s the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution in its 8th generation. I think there’s no need to introduce this car. The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is like an ordinary Mitsubishi Lancer but with WRC style. And that means really aggressive engine, suspension, interior with no comfort but great seating. It’s the car for those who want fast, but safe drive. The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 8 has a 2.0 liter DOHC 16V turbocharged engine. The base offers 280hp. Of course there are FQ special versions with the most powerful FQ400 producing amazing 405hp. This version is similar or better than Lamborghini Murcielago, Audi RS4 or Porsche Carrera 4S. Seidl Tuning and Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 8 is a very nice partnership. Seidl used to tune especially German cars, but know they’ve decided to beat this sharp Japanese. Because the engine and suspension are up-to-date, they made only bodykit modifications – front bumper, side sills and rear bumper. The front bumper comes from original lines and it’s slightly modified. There are vertical bars in side openings and both sides has small lollypops now.

The most distinctive change is in case of new paintwork of central part. Now it’s black and it looks very interesting. They continued in the sills and now we can enjoy extreme ones with sporting image. The rear bumper was next and it consists of three big openings with exhaust tip in one of them. Overall, this bumper looks nice; it’s simple but has nice details. The way of German tuners. They didn’t forget about wheels. Original rims were replaced by chromed alloys with low-profile tires. I think this wasn’t good move. The Mitsubishi Lancer Evo’s characteristic rear wing was replaced by slightly retiring with stop light. And that’s all. The German Seidl tuning proves that they can do also non-German machines. They made the extreme bodykit for the extreme car. It’s not perfect, but looks good and drives perfectly.

Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4

Mitsubishi 3000GT first came out way back in 1990, and the VR-4 is one of the most advanced sports cars in the world at that time. Renovated in 1994, the 3000GT VR-4, along with the Japanese market Nissan Skyline GT-R is the Asian equivalent of the American muscle cars – big, barrel weight and packing power. Second, they are all-wheel drive, compared with U.S. rear-wheel-drive. All-wheel drive combined with four-wheel-steering heavy and expensive. Acceleration is a strong point of the VR-4′s. Backing up the AWD system is four-wheel steering design that turns the rear wheels in the opposite direction from the front at low speeds. When all is said and done, Mitsubishi 3000GT VR43000GT VR-4 graves from the corner, regardless of road conditions. proves that even the best car design must ultimately be updated.

The “bar performance car ‘has dramatically increased since 1991 and 3000GT can not compete. It still offers good performance, but by no means a great performance car. The VR-4 rear suspension is a double wishbone arrangement. VR-4 also has a 4-wheel steering. Large four-wheel ventilated disc brakes slow the VR-4-under. ABS standard. Four-wheel-drive system consists of the center limited-slip differential with viscous coupling, rear differential also uses a viscous coupling. Normal torque split front / rear 45/55 VR 4 so that each one rear-drive bias under normal circumstances. Fast as the VR-4 is more than a sports car race car. With so much rubber on the ramp and on all wheels, 3000GT VR-4 is a great touring machine for two people. 3000GT is stable under hard braking, the benefits of AWD, that the adjustment of the rear wheels maintains, as the rear of the car increases.

2011 Mitsubishi Eclipse

The 2011 Mitsubishi Eclipse is one of the last of its breed. Gone are the days of inexpensive, front-drive sport coupes hailing from Japan like the Acura RSX, Honda Prelude and Toyota Celica. Tastes have changed and corporate priorities have shifted. Today, there’s been a renaissance of inexpensive fun cars, but most belong to the hot hatch genre. But for those who scoff at a dorky hatch and yearn for those good ol’ days of the sport coupe, the 2011 Eclipse is a pleasant relic. It’s also one of the few convertibles in its price range.

Since the moment it was introduced four years ago, the current Eclipse coupe and Spyder convertible have primarily stood out because of their outrageous styling, highlighted by a radically raked windshield, forward-sloping beltline and round, curvaceous rear end. A nifty touch is the GS models’ clear rear lip spoiler, while the GT can be equipped with a funky two-tone interior scheme reminiscent of a Creamsicle.

Mitsubishi EVO X Signed Up By Victoria Police (UK)

Car Name: Mitsubishi EVO X
Brand Name: Mitsubishi

This one, according to sources within ‘traffic branch’, has Mitsubishi’s Twin Clutch Sport Shift Transmission (TC-SST) and “makes the speed of a Subaru WRX look like a six cylinder VB Commodore. Besides being a full-on rally car with all wheel drive, it has the paddle shift on the steering column” – so sayeth the source.
It’s a trend that’s catching on. As TMR has previously reported, U.K Police Ponder Evo X Intercep tor, UK Police have been assessing the Evo X for highway duties there. Victoria Police has gone one better and given the all-paw rocket a cap and a badge and signed it up.
So be warned – it’s new ball game out there. Victoria Police now have a new weapon in the fight against all you Yaris drivers bending the speed of light (and the space time continuum).

Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GT

Car Name: Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GT
Brand Name: Mitsubishi

Mitsubishi unveiled the all-new 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GT at the 2006 North American International Auto Show. Based on the fourth-generation Eclipse coupe introduced in 2005, the new Eclipse Spyder GT combines "Driven to Thrill" design and performance with a high-tech convertible top and outstanding value.

"The new Eclipse Spyder GT captures the essence of Mitsubishi by offering customers a stand-out design and performance at an affordable price," said Rich Gilligan, president and CEO of Mitsubishi Motors North America. "Its high-quality automatic top makes Eclipse Spyder GT a convertible for all seasons and is more like a top you would expect to see on a $40,000 car than one that starts at under $26,000."

The Eclipse Spyder GT challenges more expensive sports models with its 260-horsepower, 3.8-liter V6 engine mated to either a standard six-speed manual transmission or an optional five-speed automatic. The GT's 258 lb-ft of peak torque gives this model "right now" off-the-line response. With the standard six-speed manual transmission, the Spyder GT can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in about seven seconds.

mitsubishi cars images

While we are lucky to get the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution series here in Australia, we do miss out on another sports car from the Japanese manufacturer that the North Americans get and that is the Eclipse range.

The sporty coupe is popular with car enthusiasts and aftermarket tuners and Mitsubishi has just released some images of the 2009 face-lifted Eclipse a week out from its official unveiling at the Chicago Auto Show.
